Shipping policy

At Boys of Joy, every product is made to order. Producing on demand helps us cut overproduction and waste—thank you for choosing mindful queer fashion.

Where We Ship

We ship to most countries in Europe, the UK, USA & Canada, and many locations worldwide. If your country does not appear at checkout, email contact@boysofjoy.com and we’ll confirm availability.

Production & Processing Times

  • Production (made-to-order): 2–5 business days after payment.

  • Processing & handoff to carrier: Typically same day as production completion.

  • Weekends & holidays: Orders are produced/processed on business days only; peak seasons (e.g., Black Friday/December) may add 1–3 business days.

You’ll receive an email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

Estimated Delivery Times (after shipment)

  • Europe & UK: 5–10 business days

  • USA & Canada: 7–12 business days

  • Rest of world: 10–20 business days

These are estimates. Actual times can vary due to customs, local carriers, and seasonal volume.

Carriers & Service

We use reliable carriers such as DHL, DPD, UPS, Royal Mail/La Poste/USPS and their local partners. Service level is selected automatically to balance speed, reliability, and cost. Express options may appear at checkout when available.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, product type, and weight/volume. Free-shipping promotions apply as stated on-site.

Multiple Shipments

Your order may ship in separate parcels and/or from different regional facilities (to reduce time, cost, and carbon). You’ll receive tracking for each parcel.

Address Accuracy & Changes

Please enter a complete and deliverable address (include apartment/buzzer details).

  • Change/cancel window: We can usually edit or cancel within 1 hour of ordering—email contact@boysofjoy.com ASAP. Once production starts, changes aren’t guaranteed.

  • PO Boxes/Packstation: We cannot ship to PO Boxes or Packstation addresses except if our carriers are automatically delivering to their own stations.

  • We do not accept cash on delivery (COD).

Customs, Duties & Taxes (International)

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, shipments are sent DAP/DDU (Delivered At Place/Unpaid):

  • You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and fees levied by your country.

  • Customs inspections may cause delays beyond our control.

  • To speed clearance, carriers may contact you for payment or additional info.

Risk of Loss (EU/UK Consumers)

For consumers in the EU/UK, the risk of loss passes only when you (or a person you designate) physically receive the goods. If you choose your own carrier that we do not offer, risk passes when the parcel is handed to that carrier.

Delivery Issues

Tracking shows “delivered,” but no parcel

  • Check with household members/neighbors and your building/concierge.

  • Look for a pickup slip or check your local post office/carrier depot.

  • If still missing, email contact@boysofjoy.com within 7 days of the delivery scan. We’ll help investigate with the carrier.

Damaged or wrong items

  • Please email photos of the item and outer packaging to contact@boysofjoy.com within 7 days of delivery.

  • We’ll replace or refund defective/damaged items promptly.

Failed delivery / return-to-sender

Parcels returned due to incorrect address, unclaimed pickup, or refused delivery can be resent (additional postage applies) or refunded for the item price minus original shipping once received back in good condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Preorders / Backorders (if applicable)

Preorder items show an estimated dispatch window on the product page. If your order includes in-stock and preorder items, we may split ship so you don’t wait.

Order Tracking

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link by email. Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update after the first scan.
